Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Campora, you agree to these Terms of Service and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Campora is designed for eligible students. You must meet the minimum age requirements described in our Privacy Policy, have legal capacity to accept these terms, and provide any student or institutional information reasonably required for the features you use. Access to some features may be limited to supported colleges, campuses or verified students.

You must provide accurate, current information and must not impersonate another person, institution or organisation. You are responsible for activity through your account and for keeping your sign-in access secure. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access or account misuse.

Campora may require a student profile photo, live face check, college information or other evidence before granting access to verification- gated features. Verification indicates that Campora completed its current review process; it is not a guarantee of a person's identity, character, conduct, intentions or future behaviour.

You must not evade, falsify or interfere with verification. Material account changes, including a profile-photo change, may require fresh verification and may temporarily remove access to gated features.

You must not use Campora to:

• harass, threaten, discriminate against, exploit or deceive anyone;
• share unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, sexually exploitative or misleading content;
• impersonate others or submit false student, Housing or listing information;
• spam, scrape, probe, reverse engineer or disrupt Campora or another user's account;
• circumvent verification, access controls, moderation or safety measures;
• collect, publish or misuse another person's private information;
• use Campora for brokerage, commercial property operations or other unauthorised business activity through student-only features; or
• violate applicable law or another person's rights.

Students and any permitted listing users are responsible for the accuracy, legality and availability of information they provide. You must independently verify rent, deposits, ownership or authority, property condition, location, house rules and any agreement before paying money, sharing documents or moving in.

Campora is a discovery and communication platform. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Campora is not a landlord, broker, agent, guarantor or party to arrangements between users. Campora does not collect or guarantee deposits, rent, leases or property performance.

You are responsible for your conversations, meetings and arrangements with other users. Exercise reasonable care, meet safely, protect personal and financial information, and report concerning behaviour. Campora does not guarantee compatibility, housing availability, accuracy of every user statement, or personal or property safety.

You retain ownership of content you submit. You give Campora a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, reproduce and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure and improve the service and provide the features you request. You must have the rights needed to upload your content.

Campora's name, branding, software, design and original service content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not grant permission to copy or commercially exploit them.

We may review reported or safety-relevant activity and may restrict, suspend or remove content, verification status, feature access or an account where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate misuse, enforce these terms, comply with law or protect Campora. We may preserve relevant records when needed for safety, disputes or legal obligations.

Campora may evolve, add, restrict, pause or discontinue features. We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted, error-free or permanently available access. Maintenance, security events, provider outages or other circumstances may affect service.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Campora is provided on an “as available” basis. We make no promise that matches, recommendations, verification, listings, user content or communications will always be complete, accurate, suitable or safe. Nothing on Campora is legal, financial, real-estate or personal-safety advice.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Campora and those helping operate the service will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the service, interactions between users, Housing arrangements or unauthorised access beyond what the law allows us to limit. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits your mandatory consumer rights.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in India, without inventing or relying on any unlisted company registration or address. Disputes will be handled by a court or other forum of competent jurisdiction in India, subject to any mandatory rights or procedures available under applicable law. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve concerns informally.

We may update these terms as Campora or applicable requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when a material change warrants it. Continued use after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
